Questions
Will I lose quality converting FLAC to MP3?
Yes, a little. FLAC is lossless and MP3 is not. At 256 or 320 kbps the difference is hard to hear for most listeners, but keep your FLAC original if you want a perfect copy.
Is FLAC to MP3 free?
Yes. You can convert one file at a time, up to 50 MB, for free with no sign-up. Paid plans convert up to 20 files at once and handle files up to 300 MB.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser, so your file never leaves your device. The converter itself downloads once (about 30 MB) and your browser keeps it for next time.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Haikit works in the browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone and Android. There is nothing to download or install.
