Questions
Does converting PNG to JPG reduce quality?
A little. JPG is a lossy format, but at Haikit's default quality the difference is rarely visible in photos. Sharp text and logos can show faint blurring, so keep those as PNG. Transparent areas are filled with a color, white by default.
Is PNG to JPG free?
Yes. You can edit one image at a time for free, as often as you like, with no sign-up. Paid plans add batches of up to 50 images and larger files.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so your file stays on your device and is never sent to Haikit's servers.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Haikit works in the browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone and Android. There is nothing to download or install.
