Questions
Why won't my iPhone photo open on Windows or upload to a website?
Newer iPhones save photos as HEIC by default, and many websites and Windows programs do not accept it. Converting to JPG fixes this. You can also change the iPhone camera format to Most Compatible so new photos are saved as JPG.
Is HEIC to JPG free?
Yes. You can edit one image at a time for free, as often as you like, with no sign-up. Paid plans add batches of up to 50 images and larger files.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so your file stays on your device and is never sent to Haikit's servers.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Haikit works in the browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone and Android. There is nothing to download or install.
