Questions
How well are tables detected?
Haikit detects columns from the gaps between text on the page, which works well for statements and simple tables. Merged cells and complicated layouts may need tidying in Excel. Scanned PDFs have no selectable text, so they are not supported yet.
Is PDF to Excel free?
Yes. It is free for files up to 25 MB with no sign-up. Paid plans raise the limits: files up to 100 MB, up to 50 files per merge, and every page for Word and Excel.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so your file stays on your device and is never sent to Haikit's servers.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Haikit works in the browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone and Android. There is nothing to download or install.
