Questions
How do I make a video file smaller?
Choose a lower resolution such as 720p or 480p and the Small file quality. These two settings usually make the biggest difference. Haikit saves the result as MP4 with H.264 video.
Is Compress video free?
Yes. You can convert one video at a time, up to 50 MB, for free with no sign-up. Paid plans convert up to 10 videos at once and handle files up to 300 MB.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser, so your file never leaves your device. The converter itself downloads once (about 30 MB) and your browser keeps it for next time.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Haikit works in the browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone and Android. There is nothing to download or install.
